Over night another pineapple express moved in again, (wet systems coming all across the Pacific from Hawaii).
The ocean turned wild under ferocious, warm southerlies. As we are usually braced for northerlies in our bay these violent southerly interludes really get our attention. Things fly away, tarps rip. The earth is drenched, it’s a mess again outside!
It never lasts very long, and soon the sun is dancing on the ocean again.

The land gets green again, Baja goes through so many springs and falls in one season.
All together, it’s still summer in our winter here …
